Because 3D printers teach you so many skills, and you can do so much with them!

Using them teaches you design, maths and engineering skills.
And you can use them to print so many things- you could use them to print geometric shapes in maths, molecules in chemistry, animals and cells in biology, atoms in physics, castles in history, and make loads of artworks in art & design!

When I was at school, the most we had was a lathe and a laser cutter- we would’ve loved a 3D printer
