      For me, curiosity and wanting to solve problems are really important. Working hard at maths helps too.

      I’ll second what Dawn said, you need to want to know how things work, you need to be creative when faced with a problem and you need to be thorough when it comes to deciding how to go about solving a problem, otherwise you’ll come up with bright ideas that have no chance of working or worse, are dangerous

      Curiosity, good at problem-solving, a little bit of creativity (to come with new, great ideas!) and doesn’t like giving up! And good attention to detail so that all the things you design work exactly how they should
