I don’t like it when experiments I need to do keep failing and I have important deadlines to meet still, so I end up staying a bit later at work to try them again.
Also, if I’m working with particles they sometimes like to stick everywhere inside 1 of my microchips, and I have to use a tiny wire to poke them all free

99% of the time though I love my job 🙂

The worst part of my job is probably any time I have written some code and run it with my fingers crossed it will work…. and it doesn’t (and makes a horrible error noise as well)!

      I love my job though!

I work on really challenging projects with very demanding clients who pay us very sizeable sums for our services, when you’re pushing the limits, things don’t always work out and in many cases you have to go quite far down the road to find out that your chosen path isn’t right. This can create very tense situations with the client and they are not nice moments to live through… communication is key to ensure no surprises

Longer running times… Occasionally a tough algorithm might take longer time to run, which is very annoying!! And also the DEADLINES.. but I guess the those are inevitable
