      We have a different, more complicated kind of microchip that we want to make, where particles/cells/other small things are spun around in a certain way at high speed, & get separated out into groups.

      So, you put in a mixture of cells/whatever, & they get sorted out into different types.

      This is useful as you might have a patient’s blood sample and want to look at only its red blood cells to check for an illness, but to do that you need to remove all the other cells & stuff in blood.

      This kind of microchip is hard to make though. We’re trying to get advice from someone who can do fluid simulations first :S
