      Hi.

      mmm… though one…

I guess maybe a pill that can cure several type of cancers…

If you were after something more realistic, then I would settle for a surgical robot, they are really cool., useful too…

Hi Cheeki Chappie (nice name by the way)

Wow- this is a very hard question!
      HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

A device that could scan you and instantly tell you what disease you had! That would be great. Then we wouldn’t need to go see a GP- we could be automatically directed to where to get our medicine, or what to do to get better

If it had to be more realistic though…. hmmmm
I work in health technology research, but I also care about renewable energy- maybe a business that sold cheap electric cars then, so more people could afford them

The portable tool that would somehow selectively image / diagnose tumours when they are beginning to turn malignant (somehow by tracing metabolic changes in the tissue). There are some preliminary research being carried out in this area but nowhere near the stage I mentioned above.

It would be great to be able to diagnose cancer from something as simple as a blood sample – imagine if people didn’t have to wait to go for a scan to get diagnosed.
It’s possible to find markers for some diseases in the blood – we can look for a gene that only shows up in that disease but to do this for all cancers and give people a really quick easy test would be amazing (but a bit sci-fi for now!)
