• Question: What is the hardest thing you had to design with your printer?

      It was a microchip that we haven’t finished yet (because it’s so hard!) where cells are spun around.
      The microchip is meant to separate different types of cells. So, if you want to look at 1 type of cell in blood to check them for disease, or see if someone is infected with a bad bacteria, you could put a blood sample in and it’d separate it for you.
      We’re having problems with the cells not spinning how we want though, so we need advice from a fluid behaviour expert first.
