      Both.

I work alone most of the time, but I’m a member of 2 separate research groups, and I sometimes work together with people from them.
1 research group is made of people who 3D print, & the other one is of people who research nanotechnology. Each have regular meetings where we discuss our work & see how we can help each other 🙂

If you work in engineering/scientific research you usually do multiple mini projects at the same time, & on some you’ll work in a team.

Always a team, working alone isn’t fun and you achieve so much more putting more than one mind to a task

I work alone day to day but my work contributes to bigger research as part of a group, and I meet with other researchers most days which helps us come up with ideas and decide what we want to do next.

Actually both. I work on my algorithm alone but deliver the final application as a team
